At St Vincent's we know we are all called to serve...
This year the Mini Vinnies have continued their work with the Michael Flanders Centre by visiting weekly.
In addition, Miss Linda organised a Christmas Choir to work with the Dementia Centre.
Our first drive towards the Common Good of this academic year was on on our school's feast day, 27th September 2019. On the feast of St Vincent de Paul, we recognised those locally and nationally who are homeless. We raised money for our local Acton Homeless Concern as well as Mission Together. The Mini Vinnies and School Council worked together to raise awareness of these charities and organised the day. See their presentation to the whole school attached.
The children have been learning about Judaisim from Rabbi Zvi.
St Vincent's Supports Missio /Mission Together. Our children attended Mass at Westminster Cathedral for the start of the Extraordinary Mission of Mission (EMM)
The children took part in an act of worship with other year groups to mark the feast of St Francis of Assisi
