Religion: had a discusion about classroom expectations, we will begin to learn about Lent starting tomorrow

ELA: began our new story, Ecology for Kids, Homework is 10 spelling words in a paragraph, if you do not have the study guide you can find it in google classroom

Math:we worked on dividing by the tens. hundreds, and thousands with a video on the PP, homework is page 219, 2-6

Religion: finish the ten commandments worksheet on how you can follow it, and how you can break it. Use the Venture's book page 33 to 35 to help you with ideas, do not do commandment 6 and commandment 9.  The poster/worksheet with a commandment on it is to be completed and colored, 3 ways to break it and 3 ways to keep it

Social Studies: completed a reading about Martin Luther King Jr. and began a cause and effect worksheet quiz on vocabulary Thursday

Science: answered questions in the book on page B74-B77, to be completed in class if not finished. We will have a quiz next Tuesday

Social Studies: continued learning about the first settlers in America

Science: continuing learning about parallel and series circuits.  Tomorrow we are going to create a complete circuit and test out what materials are conductors and which are insulators

Tuesday 12.12

ELA: everyone rolled the dice to determine their christmas narrative.  We will start tomorrow. Tonight's homework is page 142, kinds of verbs. 

Math:  HW is the 3 minute drill

Religion: no class, had the concert

Social Studies: took the vocab quiz and began making posters about the Native Americans 

Science: we reviewed lesson one and completed a worksheetabout electrical circuits, if they missed class because of band the assignment is homework

Monday 12.11

ELA: we played the games that were created for the project.  Tomorrow we begin a narrative writing assignment

Math:  HW is page 201, numbers 1-4.  We worked on lesson 4.1 which is finding an estimate to a division problem

Religion: we learned more about the 2nd week of Advent,  They watched a video about peace.  If they did not finish they are to finish slide 34 for homework

Social Studies: we reviewed and studied our word for the vocabulary quiz

Science: we reviewed lesson one and did an experiment about static electricty with a balloon.  We have a lesson one vocabulary quiz Thursday.

Monday: 12.4

ELA: we continued our projects, please work on them at home.  They are due Tuesday since today was a shortened class due to the prayer service.  Also 10 spelling words in a paragraph

Math:  HW is finish study guide given in class, Math test Tuesday

Religion: we learned about Advent and the test is Tuesday, study the blooket and review stations in google classroom.

Social Studies: we learned more about the Iroqius Indians 

Science: learned about open and closed circuits

Tuesday: 12.5

ELA: we finished our projects and began the vocabulary of the new story Hurricanes, homework is page 136 that was given in class

Math: math test was taken

Religion: took our test

Social Studies: we finished the Iriqouis packet and began learning about the Nanticoke.  I gave a list of the vocabulary to study for the vocabulary quiz Friday.  They can make flashcards or create a blooket

Science:we reviewed what we learned yesterday and began talking about the 4 parts of a circuit after watching a video 

Wednesday: 12.6

ELA: spelling test tomorrow, we read our new story.  Homework is the vocabulary page given in class.  We will present projects starting tomorrow

Math: we began learning division, homework is page 207, 5-8- show work on another peice of paper

Religion: learned about Saint Nicholas, complete your stocking if you did not finish

Social Studies: began learning about the Nanticoke. 

Science:we reviewed what we learned yesterday and began talking about the 4 parts of a circuit and watched a video about electric circuits

Thursday: 12.7

ELA: presentations began and will finish tomorrow.  Homework is a worksheet about to, too, and two

Math: no math today- House Meeting

Religion: learned about The Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Social Studies: learned about the Piscataway Tribe.  A diary entry of a day as a Piscataway Indian is due tomorrow if not finished

Science: since it was a short class due to the House Meeting, they watched a Bill Nye video, if not finished it is to be completed tomorrow morning

ELA: we continued our projects, please work on them at home.  They are due by the end of class Monday

Math:  HW is 15 minutes of IXL or finish  the study guide on google classroom, Math test Tuesday

Religion: we worked on our study guide for the test that is next week, test is Tuesday

Social Studies: we learned more about the Iroqius Indians and Alconquin Indians

Science: worked on ixl to learn about static electricity

ELA: we began our projects, they will be due on Monday at the end of class

Math:  HW is 15 minutes of IXL

Religion: we worked on our study guide for the test that is next week

Social Studies: we learned more about the Iroqius Indians

Science: we continued learning about charges and completed a worksheet

ELA: we began our projects, they will be due on Monday at the end of class

Math: we worked on 2 by 2 digit multiplication with regrouping.  HW is 15 minutes of IXL

Religion: read and answered quesitons about the 6 types of prayer. We created a foldable for our notebook

Social Studies: we learned more about Woodlands Indians and thier homes, wigwams and longhouses

Science:we learned about postive and negative charges and watched a video that showed examples of what happens when 2 like charges repel and 2 opposite charges come together

Monday: 11.27

ELA: we finished reading the story and the worksheet with the project to choose from went home.  They are to choose 1 of the 9 and we will complete it in class.  It will be finished Monday at the end of class

Math: we worked on partial products, Test next Tuesday

Religion: read and answered quesitons about the 6 types of prayer.  If the worksheet was not finihshed it is to be completed for homework
