Coaches

Head Coach: Alysha Humpert

Coach Humpert is in her 7th year as head volleyball coach at Rider High School. She also coaches track and teaches World Geography and U. S. History. Coach Humpert graduated from Rider High School in 2005, where she played volleyball, basketball, and threw both discus and shot put for the Lady Raiders.

Coach Humpert played volleyball for Cameron University and Midwestern State University. As a college athlete, she won several awards and holds the record for most blocks by a middle blocker in a game. She graduated from MSU in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in History. Previously, Coach Humpert coached club volleyball and volleyball, basketball, and track at Wichita Falls High School.

Coach Humpert has been married to her husband Kris for 7 years. They have a daughter, Sutton, and a son, Bennett.

Alysha’s volleyball teams have made the playoffs every year, advancing as far as the Regional Quarterfinals in 2015 and 2018. In a timespan of 7 years, Alysha has compiled a record of 198 wins and 84 losses as a head volleyball coach.

JV/Asst. Coach: Kristy Ciuba

Coach Ciuba is in her 6th year of coaching and teaching at Rider. Coach Ciuba coached JV volleyball, freshman girls' basketball, and teaches English. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2002 where she played volleyball, basketball, and ran track.

Coach Ciuba attended Hardin-Simmons University where she played volleyball and basketball for the Cowgirls. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in 2006. Coach Ciuba then spent four years at Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, TX. During her time at Robert E. Lee, she coached JV volleyball and basketball and taught Pre-AP English.
