Teens Helping Teens

Green Level High School HOSA

Our Mission: Community Awareness

Teens Helping Teens is a mental health awareness program started by Maren and Raghav for the HOSA State Leadership Conference. When Teens learn about mental health they often hear about it through adults, and these adults offer solutions and treatments to common mental health issues faced by teens in an oversimplified and extreme manner. We wanted to spread awareness about mental health instead through the eyes of teens and provide realistic and easy ways to access help for mental health issues to teens.

Our 3 Main Goals

Goal One

Educate teens on how they can find and retrieve immediate help that makes them feel comfortable, teens may not be comfortable talking to a counselor or parent. Over time we want to build confidence to go speak to a trusted adult

Goal Two

Our second goal is to then educate our fellow teens on what to do if a friend or peer comes to them with mental health problems.

Goal Three

Our third goal is to educate our community on mental health problems teens commonly face witch are; Anxiety, ADHD/ADD, OCD, & Depression

Upcoming Events

We plan to host various mental health seminars, PSA videos, and the distribution of digital procures.
