wait, isn't it like, a little early to do a recap? Whatever mr. Unknown, it's your story.
We begin with a cat named Meowrage Meowrosa and his journey around the room. He starts out waking up from a dream, which is in fact, an homage to Into the Underverse, which was the original story Meowrage was in, this just so happens to include him ;^ (that's a winky face). You originally named Meowrage yourself since I, the narrator, told you that this was you, but in fact, you were merely playing him, and in this world, you don't get to decide who you are... at least if you're kris, which you aren't- well actually YOU the character- you know what, never mind. You, as meowrage, name yourself Unknown, and then, you go to pick up the phone. Behind it was Sans Undertale from the hit indie game, Undertale, and his brother, Papyrus, was reported to be crushed by a meteor playing the game Sburb. Sburb, as we'll soon find out, is a game about a lot of things, but most importantly, it's superimposed on the real world.
After finding this out, Meowrage then discovers his actually name and remembers what he is like. You've been through that, but the gist is, he makes maps, he has 3 friends that he watches crappy movies with, and he is a prrrivate investigator, going by PunnyInvestigatorguy online. Meowrage then spends so much time thinking about nonsense that he forgets today was his birthday, and his friend, who goes by SuspiciousBirdguy on Encore, your universe's chatting program, designed around cheering your friends on, starts cheering him on. Meowrage talks with him, both showing off how Encore works, and also showing off his, and SB's typing quirks. Meowrage also spends this time talking about his job, with the "recent" (at the time) call with the skeleton. SB notes that he owns a copy of that game and can send it to Meowrage, and he does. The chat then ends with Meowrage starting to download Sburb.
In the meantime, however, Meowrage started spending time on the internet, when his other friend, SadisticKickbacker, starts cheering him too. The two then talk about sburb and how they, SB, and the yet unmentioned, MM, were going to play sburb. Meowrage then goes off around his house, exploring it all. Meowrage then talks about his Dragon Plushie-turned Evil maniac, Xantherass, and how it likes to torture him. Meowrage then goes towards the kitchen, gets some food, goes to the bathroom, and then goes back to his room to go to the computer.
There, MM, now established to be MiracleMadchild, started cheering Meowrage. There we learn that, A, MM and Meowrage are confused about playing the game, but are excited nonetheless, B, MM and PI are both cats, and C, SB and SK are both bird-like characters. We also learn that MM is a streamer on Prod, a Multi-type SV program that streams basically everything, and she uses it a little too much.
After his third conversation (as long as you're concerned), Meowrage then goes back downstairs to watch the IV. There, he's interrupted by the aforementioned Xantherass, who approaches him and then licks his face. Meowrage, understandably, throws Xantherass into the wall. Meowrage then goes check up on the progress of the download, meeting his dad, Meowroar, on the way. After this, he goes to explore the rest of his house, eventually ending in the study room, where he plays two guitar songs for his dragon plushie Bob.
Afterwards, he goes back upstairs, and finds his game is done downloading. Meowrage then starts cheering SB, telling him that the game is done. The two then fumble their way through the login sequence, all resulting in SB being the Server, and Meowrage being the Client. SB, who had some prior game knowledge from seasoned veteran, Terezei (GallowsCallibrator), played around with the controls, moving Meowrage's desk, and revising his room. Meowrage then asks SB to make a little hideyhole for him to hide in. So, SB demolishes some of the room below Meowrage's, so that a hole would appear where he wants, and then, starts work and creating (alchemizing) a trapdoor. He (SB) places a Card Puncher and a Totem Lathe but finds that he can't place the alchemizer in Meowrage's room, so he asks him to go outside. Meowrage complies, going outside, but on the way, reminiscing about his dead mother, who died when he was very young.
Outside, SB places the alchemizer, and instructs Meowrage to go into the living room where he placed the Cruxtruder. Meowrage obliges, SB opens the Cruxtruder with a Litterbox, a kernelsprite jumped out, and the two add a third to their conversation, GC. GC, GallowsCallibrator, Terezei, whatever, uses caps locked Leet speak, (SH3 SP34KS L1K3 TH1S), and tells Meowrage that he needs to ignore the trapdoor conundrum, and focus on getting into the medium. She tells him that there's a meteor coming towards his house, and as he looked, he sees there is such a meteor. With rising urgency, Meowrage goes back up to his room for the millionth time, punces the code for the Trapdoor (even though "1 TOLD H1M NOT TO"), places it into the Lathe, and hands it over to SB.
SB takes the carved cruxite, and places it into the alchemizer, alchemizing a door from some leftover grist in their (being Meowrage and SB's) inventory. He places it, places the pre-punched card containing the entry item, and grabs a new cruxite dowel. Meowrage takes the pre-punched card and puts it into the Lathe, and SB goes to alchemize it. He comes back with a cucumber (funniest shit i've seen). Meowrage, being the cat he is, jumps back, and hisses at the thing. He goes to communicate with his friend and troll companions and learns a few things.
Firstly, Sburb is a re-occurring game, in that Terezei has played it "before" with a couple of her friends, and thus, she knows everything, or mostly everything about the game. Secondly, Papyrus, the whole reason Meowrage played in the first place, is now in a Medium, and in order to enter the Medium, one must first summon an entry item, which has been done (the cucumber), and secondly, one must activate the item with due haste. Take for example, an apple, you'd need to bite it in order to enter. Or a pinata, you'd need to whack it in order to enter. One such player for the trolls' game joins the metaphorical circle-jerk.
ArsenicCatnip, if it wasn't obvious by the name or the way she talks, is much like a cat. She likes to do roleplaying-type games, so she speaks like she's narrating her actions. The four newly found friends have a conversation, just using narration. SB in singling out, speaks in second person opposed to third like AC, PI, or GC. AC, GC, and SB (wow I sound deranged) explain to Meowrage that he needs to use his entry item, the cucumber, to stimulate his prostate. There, plain as day, he needs to use it, in that way.
Don't worry, I made sure that it wasn't * GAY * in that I wrote that SB made a meme about their talking, the dave and cooler dave one, and that led the conversation to memes, and AC asked what a penis was, implying she didn't know, and as she had the cucumber too, she'd know if it felt or looked like one, and she basically said that it didn't. In addition, I should mention that the entry item is always character/species specific, so SB, who's a bird, may need to nest an egg, or maybe eat some bird seed. Meowrage, who has a cucumber, is a cat, and cats are notoriously anti-cucumber.
So, what's going on right now is that Meowrage needs to touch himself with the cucumber, his friends waiting desperately for him to do so, an angry law troll also doing so, one kernelsprite hovering around a mostly house, two dragon plushies, one in a wall, the other wondering around, a widowed dad, and a meteor scheduled to crash in a little over a minute.
So, what do you do?
I mean, what did you mean "what just happened" I don't think you meant something to this degree, but I do suppose some of this knowledge was new, so it wasn't entirely useless. I only did this because, well, I'll just rant into a new paragraph-
In 2007, Andrew Hussie created a website called MSPaintAdventures. It started with a little adventure called Jailbreak and was followed up by the failed Bard's Quest. In 2008, Toby fox created the cleverly entitled, Radiation's Halloween Hack, around the same time, MSPA started airing their new adventure, the Problem Sleuth, which ran almost an entire year. After this, the groundbreaking story known as homestuck started. Around this time, AH (andrew hussie) asked on an open form who could make music for homestuck, TF (toby fox) answered the call, and became an official member. 200~ pages into homestuck, he can first be heard (he didn't actually start until partially through page 400~, the reason he's on page 200~ is because of transphobia from the guy who made music there before Toby, don't get it confused, Toby isn't transphobic.) From there, TF became a staple of many of the major pages in homestuck, going as far as to creating several solo albums within a 3-month period. In homestuck, every few hundred pages, the author, AH, writes a recap, very similar to this one, and explains a lot of new, retro-active information, that he may not have had planned at the start.
I only bring Homestuck now because this story, the one I just recapped, is, in some part, an homage to homestuck, so, if you would, don't cheat by skipping ahead in homestuck, I can do it since I'm the narrator, but you, just stick to my story.
So, now what do you do?
