You pull out the alchemy set. (I'm not gonna do the bookshelf thing again, I think that's what caused the whole mess earlier). Your father gave this to you on your 11th birthday and you've been tinkering with it ever since. It has two imputs, Triangle and Square. Then, you use an incantation spell to activate it and then you combine the two items, just like if they were alchemized. The only difference between the two machineries is that Alchemizing allows for && type combining, while the alchemy set only does ||. Another big thing between the two, you can only put very small items on the pedistals, otherwise you could turn it upside down and somehow combine the earth with an item, which would be an insane item if you did do that, so you just combine small items.
You sit for a moment thinking about items in your room that you could alchemize, and you come up with a solution. The first item, a pair of glasses you got from a friend. The second, is on the other side of the room.
