First off, you were already done pondering your orb, hence the orb being in one of your buttholes. Second, the laboratory is southwards, cardinally, I should add, just because it looks north, doesn't make it north.
Anyways you decide to make your way to the lab. The lab, un-sanctimoniously, has its main entrance be a single, grey door. You've seen this door used several times begore by various characters on their way on and off the island. People like the pope, several world leaders, billionaires, and other hugely important people. It works like any other door. Nothing special, but it does, however, have a DNA detector that it uses in order to lock or unlock.
Here's a funny thing about vegans, they are always eating meat. Everyone is, it's just that vegans make it a huge deal that they never eat any meat. Humans, just as with all animals, all multicellular things really, have a mechanism in their cells that makes it so that those cells die, and then they just shed away. Humans are especially keen on this because we live in houses, which isolate these dead cells, which we then see floating around as little "sparkles" or "dust" when we see a strand of strong light. That sparkle/dust is the dead cells just floating about, and what you don't see is that it's not only in that light, but that it's everywhere else as well. And with this, you breath it in, only if by accident, and most importantly for this argument, the dust settles on food that you're putting in your mouth. Now, it's not just cannibalism that we're all accidentally doing, but also the pets we keep in our house (both invited and uninvited). We, whether we like it or not, are eating parts of our animals and ourselves. You may argue that these are dead parts of creatures and that don't make the creature as a whole eaten. To that, I say, most things we eat are already dead, and a lot of foods are only parts of the animal. To that you may say that it is a byproduct of natural biology. Then I would say that milk and eggs are that too, and vegans don't eat those, so whatever way you look at it, people eat parts of animals all the time and so people striving for not doing that is a bit hypocritical.
Anyways, back to starstuck, ignore most of the last part about that paragraph and just know that the sensors of the door detect your emitting DNA as you try to open the door and it knows exactly who is opening the door.
You open the door.
