As mentioned previously, this box is a box of pizza from some restaurant that was made by monsters. Not the box, I mean the pizza and the restaurant. The box would have to come from some human factory of sorts because Monsters have famously had a huge argument over whether to teach the hand or teach the mind. Of course, as we know, because of the EXTREME success garnered by WDG Industries, the mind was favoured a lot more than the hand, so a lot of monsters started trying to learn things.
However, this goes against their original line of work. Back when both walked the earth, a few hundred years ago, Monsters were laborers and humans did a lot more of the arts and education. That isn't to say that they shouldn't stop learning about things, because that would be redundant because all of them are dead, so they can't do anything, including learning. It's as if a bunch of horses gained freedom and all along knew that they were horses, and now they want to not be ridden but to learn astrology or some dumb shit like that.
You're not saying that horses are monsters, you're just saying that the ancestors of monsters, going back several generations, in monster time, which is NOTHING compared to the MILENIA that Carpascians live, they were laborers and worked their fill of the labor. Maybe you're generalizing, because some Monsters didn't do hard labor back then, but your point stands. They'd rather choose as a species to try something new over all, instead of rekindling something that they're supposed to be good at.
Whatever they do, in a past tense, it doesn't matter because that do is past anyways, so why bother caring about the things the dead could've done. If we look back and think about what could've been, it's just as likely that we will end up dead by meteor genocide than those things are to happen. Which is exactly why those two axioms are related.
You eat a slice and then feel full, again.
