1081 >SS: enter

The two of you enter the pickle.  You notice that the terminal seems to have restarted and now is displaying a message you don't recognize.  Or, you at least have forgotten.  That is because it's in a state that you first found it.  Before you started watching PI and then Law and Order.  You suspect that this is the result of a new person entering the Pickle, and the pickle reading that as somebody new.

You tell your cohort that he should probably do something about this at once.  He agrees, as you both share the knack for finding solutions to problems like having your terminal being completely altered.  That is one of the few things that you have talked about in the ten minutes and a bit that you've known about.  You first gave him the books, then some food, and then you talked about your duties in your kingdoms, and how you both were in charge of solving the kingdom's problems, among other things.

He used to be the PROBLEM SOLVER of the kingdom, but it doesn't matter anymore.  None of it matters, solely because derse is dead, so is prospit, the war, the royals, and all the others who risked their lives for some dumb cause.  He understands your nihilism in such a terrible time, but you cannot reciprocate his optimism.  Is he dumb or something?  How can he be so jolly in such a jiveless time.
