Yes, I've finally made it to a computer, now, to type.
Act one happened, for the most part, without any major road blocks. Where the Recap left off, the only real major thing that happend was Meowrage entering the medium. This is one of, if not the most important thing that happened in Act 1. It signified the end of the world for the rest of society, and it ushered a new age for the story. Major things that happened in [S]: Meowrage: Enter:
-Meowrage mustered up the courage to shove a cucumber up his but.
-Meowroar watched in horror as his world he once knew disappeared before his eyes.
-The meteor hit the place where the house would've been, but it entered the medium.
-And the sprite that SB opened with the kitty litter prototyped with Xantherass.
Need I say anymore. You can basically tell all that by looking at the animation, but, if it helps, it helps.
ACT 2
starts with SB, now known as Syb going on a stroll into the house across the bridge. He lives in a bird-tree-house that is suspended above a field of yellow plants. It's unclear whether they're flowers or whether they're grass or what, but all we know is that it's yellow and it's in the middle of the forest. Syb croses the bridge sucessfully, without any major screw ups, and makes his way to the door that his family built in commemeration of the lost generations that never lived in the generational homes that he and his sister, Bys, built.
Okay, about these houses, I had this big metaphor about these houses being like a family tree and that some family members stay in the house but others enter the rest of the world and burn the bridge behind them. And that's why the bridges were so important, they were signifying that family may break apart, but they have that same old connection that isn't 100% lost to time or anything. I also wanted to make a big deal about how Syb's relationship to his sister isn't ever going to stop as they still are bonded over that shared experience. There was also some metaphor about how the yellow field was like death and that families can live with one another even in the threat of death or whatever. My point is, I've forgotten it and I might as well explain what I do remember before it's all too late.
Anyways, Syb pulls out a gun and prepares to open a door, but then, Frog.
One of Bys' frogs, which she makes a lot of, hits Syb in the face, knocking him down. This frog that she throws at Syb will serve as a really important part of the story, more than just a frog that knocked Syb to the ground. Anyways, the frog hits Syb, he falls, and then gets up and looks around, looking at past structures that his family has made, and how most of them can never see the world they worked so hard to get. Then he goes up a ski lift to make it up to a higher level of the house: The Green House level.
Here he eats/takes some seeds, walks and round the greenhouse, and looks into a hole where some experiments are being held, pressumably. As we all know, they weren't doing that, Bys just had the elevator down to scare Syb into taking the vase route. Which, he does.
Syb goes into a vase room, observes them, and then fights his sister, ultimately waiting for her to abscond from the battle. He then makes it to the kitchen where he consumes fish, then almost visits his sister, ultimately deciding it was time to leave and that his friends would be online soon and so should he.
He goes on to leave his house and make his way to his own room, where he has a conversation with Terzei, which just so happens to be her first conversation with him, just, on a timeline-jumping scale. There he convinces her to help out his future and past versions of himself, and sets his way up to play the game. But before that, he needs to watch his friend, MM on Prod.
There he communicates with SK and MM to inform them a little on plans in the future, and such as the one he'll make a few seconds from then, when he set up the Sburb game with Meowrage, and having the conversations he had with him in Act 1.
Now we're caught up with Act 1, but not too fast, for you see, when Xantherass prototyped, it got absorbed into the kernelsprite which, once entered the medium, split into three, one ultimately going to Prospit on the wrong pillar, one going to Derse, and one staying on Meowrage's planet Land of Noir and Dragons (LONAD). Xanthersprite would go explore the newly medium-ized house and visit the memorial where Meowroar throws the urn at it and whoops, Xanthersprite is now Meowrage's mom.
Long ago, as in, three years before the game started, Meowrage attempted to make a christmas present using a spell from The Verry Important Multiverse Book to resurect his mom and put her soul into the body of Xantherass. MM was there for support via Encore and it almost worked unitl Gamgam Meowrosa stepped in saying there was dinner. This made it so the spell only partially worked, Mama Meowrosa's soul was in Xantherass but she couldn't speak. Thus, when the two spirits colided in the sprite, Mama Meowrosa was finally free. This also explains why Xantherass licked Meowrage, becuase that's what mother cats do to their young, lick their faces.
Meowrage gets out from his jerkoff station and leaves his room and meets his mother. The two of them then have a pasionate mother-to-son moment where many tears were shead and many names were called. The names were from the Soulless Stray from, somewhere in the future, I'll get there soon.
After this, Meowrage talks to a very unsavory troll revealed to be named Karkat. Karkat is a bad troll, as he curses perfusely, and he hates everything. Meowrage finds out from Terzei in the same conversation that the two were from the same session of Sburb that they played before talking to the kids, and that Karkat may have a crush on Meowrage. Wether this is true or not will remain unanounced.
After this he talks to SK, ultimately giving her an idea about the Kernelsprite, and then he goes outside.
Meowrage, during this section of the story, has a lazer pointer, cuz he's a cat, and he uses it agressively during this section. Meowrage takes his computer out and talks to Terzei and Syb who'd been wainting restlessly by this point, only being forced to watch his insane antics. There, Terzei breaks it off with Meowrage, but giving him someone to talk to, Feferi. Feferi's a good troll as she's kind and believes in the good of everyone.
Here, also, Mamasprite explains the basics of the game, that Meowrage is an Ace of Space, that he's on the side of Prospit, that his goal in the game is to create a universe with his friends, and that each player has planets, the largest being Syb's. As Meowrage is being a badass with a lazer, a new character hops into the mix, Jack, Motherfucking, Noir.
Jack Noir is like, the 5th most important starstuck character, only after Charles Darwin, all incarnations of Me, and a few others, and as you'll find out, he's both a strong ally, and a notorious villain. Jack noir, as we first see him, is a Derrsite Agent who watches events in teh medium through his Fenestrated Walls. He watches as Meowrage lazers imps, and watches as his derse dreamself sleeps in the center of Derse.
We learn a lot about Derse from Jack Noir, that they're in a nearly never-ending war against Prospit, that the moon is completely empty, that Derse has a major outpost on LONAD, that the war has been corrupted, and that Prospit has a rumored weapon that could finally make it so that they win, instead of the inevidable Dersites.
The Queen of Derse, Black Queen, BQ, whatever, gets into JN's room and hassles him about the cat problem. JN says he'll solve it with two ogres and a litch, and then he instructs DD (Draconian Dignitary) to send the forces using a teleporter. JN watches as the troops go towards Meowrage, but first, we have to travel into the future.
In between Act 1 and Act 2, there was a little comic strip where a man named the Soulless Stray wondered upon a giant white cucumber in the middle of the wreckage for an indigo city, a la Fallout. Right here in the story, we pick up, making the Soulles Stray enter the Cucumber, and mess around with the machines inside. He types on the computer, giving the instructions he gave to Meowrage when he entered the medium, then he picked up a gas can.
Here, all three stories collide, Meowrage beats the forces using a randomly appearing mirror, Jack Noir spits out his drink, and SS finds out what happens when you drink expired gasoline.
JN is punished by the queen, so hard in fact, that he sets out to go to LONAD himself. Meowrage, however, is quite happy by this as he levels up, gaining the ability to see through walls.
Syb and Meowrage prepare to do what is necessary to get to the next part of the game, entering the gate. There are 7 gates above Meowrage's and, pressumably, the rest of the gang's houses, that they must enter to get to that world's respected land. Because the house is most definately suspended high above the planet's surface, for better or for worse.
Syb builds a staircase, and spills out his feelings about Terzei to Meowrage, who suggests he should share that with Terzei. So, in a gambit to get better weapons, Syb talks to Terzei, telling her that he likes her, she says she's not ready yet, and learning about Alchemy.
Then Meowrage goes on a spree, making tons of interesting gadgets to better his future experience in the game. These include several lazer guitars, a pair of extendo gloves, and a stronger jacket.
SS views this moment, as he has with the rest of the Meowrage misadventures, with an ire so vigourous it bleeds through the screen. He decides to switch channels to Syb, then finding him giving PTSD, to MM's house, 3 years ago. Then, he goes over to spin in a chair.
Man, if I knew how much I would love having SS spin in a chair, I would've done it more justice, but, this act of such a tough guy, such as SS (who is in fact JN in the future), doing such a funny, hysterical thing like spinning, I just love it.
Anyways, SS becomes Spinny Sevant, and falls into his own vomit, opening a pannel. Then, SS pushes a button, teleporting the very important book from MM's past mailbox to when he is.
I suppose I should talk about the Christmas adventure where Syb is Santa and gives MM that book, but, you've all seen that, right?
Anyways, SS picks up the book and messes around with the future version of the book that he also has, making sure one becomes the other, and taking a page out of the past book. He then waits until someone else, i.e. PS to come along to give him the books, without the page.
Jack Noir finally makes it to LONAD and fights Meowrage, knocking him out with a single punch. He then proceeds to beat the crap out of Meowrage until he stops and takes him to the Dragon Plush Room. Syb, in this chaos, watches in horror as his friend gets pummeled without him to do anything to stop it. It has also started to rain.
Meanwhile, in Louisiana, a catgirl's power is cut out.
It appears that she has yet to be named. Well, let's fix that-
Their name will forever beyond now be Mew Mew.
There, I solved the longest standing issue in Starstuck.
Now, she lives in a circus on the Baiyou. There she lives with their dad, the great Blucifer Mew, an excellent magician and incredible ringmaster. She looks at their bookcase which has several interesting books, such as ones from Charles Dutton and ones about anime. She also takes the Very Important Book that has made several occurrences in this recap.
She explains that she is a ghost, that their father used a spell to put their soul into a Vessel, and that she too uses majiik from the book.
She uses a micro alchemy stand that combines some spamton glasses with a copy of Prospit. There she sees Meowrage sleeping in a pillar of Prospit. Apearently, Meowrage has two dream selves around both planets.
Together, at the same time, Meowrage explores his alternate room, and Mew Mew goes to visit their father to get information about the power outage, ultimately getting a tablet. The two of them then talk to Syb who has been also talking to Jack Noir through his guitar.
All of them talk about several things like how they have multiple dream selves, when Syb will enter the Medium, etc.
Meowrage goes on an adventure to go explore Prospit, and mew mew talks to their cousin, Napstablook. Then, Meowrage enters a cathedral idolizing Syb. There he learns of Prospit's deep lore as descendent from an ancient kingdom ruled by a uniter of Carpascian kind, and that Derse believed the king was full of himself, leaving him and forming their own kindom. The two of them fight for eternity, but the Dersites will ultimately win the war, taking control of the universe.
Meowrage also learns that Syb is somewhat descendent of the Old King. That's why Prospit is on a moon rather than a planet.
Meowrage is then taken to the White Queen while learning about the war, his mother's prototyping, and how she didn't go to the correct pillar. At the same time, Syb talks to JN about plans to take over the derse monarchy and take control of the throne, he is also cheered by Mew Mew and then SK. His conversation stops when something devistating happens...
Meowrage meets the queen, who takes him to view the devestation:
Syb's house gets upheavled, it's base being strucked by lightning.
His dream Pillar, the one on Prospit, also gets blown up.
The two fall down, one catching aflame, while the other bouncing about.
Syb nearly doesn't escape with his life, nor his laptop, but he does anyways.
And Syb's dream room finally lands in some plaza.
Then, SK is finally revealed as a character, which is where we are now.
Right after the tittle screen of Starstuck.
300~ pages of a comic, even before the tittle screen.
Now, the thing you wanted at first, beyond a 20 minute read...
