You take the new card that you got from AD and scan it on the door.  It accepts it as high enough face.  Of course, it does.  Ace is above all other faces.  It goes 2 through 10, jack, queen, king, and then ace is far and above the top.  An ace is worth 14 in this arbitrary system.  And guess who gets it, the dunce.
