Cats have a very special way of baptizing their young.  Instead of taking a plunge into holy water, the baptizer just coats their tongue with holy water and licks the young cat all over.  You don't remember being baptized, but from what your dad and grandmother says about it, you weren't into it- not one bit.  From then on, you went to church every Sunday with your Dad, and before she left, your Grandmother.  You hated it.  But you were a kid with a very short attention span, who's also a cat, with a very short attention span.  So, any period of time when you were standing or sitting down for a prolonged period of time left you very bored.  You filled that time with thoughts about fictional lands, far away.  You daydreamed about going there and discovering a new race of people who all want to be your friend.

Indigo city was near Mt. Ebott when the barrier was broken.  In fact, it was the first place that the monsters went to shortly after they left the underground.  They were expecting humans, but they got cats.  Luckily, the mayor at the time, who still holds office today, was skilled in explaining Indigo City to people who weren't expecting something like it to exist.  That day, so many monsters were confused, but you think there was more confusion for the Indigoans, who never had a history with the monsters.  Fortunately, nothing bad happened, and a friendship was metaphorically formed between the two.

You remember the day, because so much good happened to you that day.  You woke up a little late for church and you didn't get any breakfast on your way there.  You sat there for the normal amount of time, that day, you thought about a place with buildings that you could accidentally step on.  Then, you asked to go to breakfast, but it was lunch time by that time, so you went to a restaurant.  And by restaurant, I mean Dr. Monalds, the fast-food chain that appears all around the world.  You ate your TWO mirthful meals and then went to a play place.  There, you met Syb for the first time.  You didn't know what he was, but you were very curious.  You began playing and then talking, and it turns out that you guys were a lot alike.  He asked when he could see you again, but you told him about the city's weirdness.  So, he gave you his email address and you played the rest of your lunch in bliss.

Later, you sent him an email and then you both moved to Encore.
