You finally get the chance to meet your dad.

Blucifer Blook is a fine gentleman of the arts.  He grew up in a small village of cats un-harmed by humans, and only started getting big when the cats started be civillized.  That's when he decided to be a circus man.  And he's quite good.  In his act is you, of course, but also several other acts including:

and A bear with a retractable Tutu.

You go right after the strong man, so when he's finished, sometimes he throws you up into the trapeze from the ground.  You are exhillirated by that when he does it.  It makes you feel like those super heroes you idolize.

Your father has taught you well when it comes to the SLIGHT OF HAND, but your skill pales in comparison to his.  He can sling a game of 52 pick-up within 3 whole seconds.  He also can do any pick-a-card trick you can think of, one of which involves a little bit of timetravel.  You've tried to emmulate that one in particular but you don't know how he does it.  It may have something to do with the book, or, something entirely else.  You just don't know.

You ask your father what happened to the lights.  He tells you the generator got busted.  You ask why you don't use the back-up.  He tells you that was the back-up.  You continue to bicker about this until your father suggests you try to communicate with your friends using a tablet he got from one of his other jobs.  You took it and started to talk to your friend Syb.
