BQ: But I thought those were stories made up to scare the little Frys.
DD: I did too.
DD: But it seems as though they were real.
DD: It seems like the Lordling is really the Llofrudd Amser.
DD: And this is his Stopiwr Gofod.
BQ: Remind me again what that deal is.
DD: Of course.
DD: Long ago, before there was a Prospit and Derse, everything was peaceful.
DD: That was until the Great Leader decided to break ties with the Gray Tyrant.
DD: Forcing the start of this current war.
DD: Now, neither the Great Leader nor the Gray Tyrant had children, but it is said that through the balance of time and space, both shall come into existence again.
DD: The return of the Gray Tyrant shall be named the Llofrudd Amser, or time killer.
DD: And his weapon, the Stopiwr Gofod (space stopper), will bring an end to the war, and bring victory to the Tyrant Followers.
DD: Unfortunately, we do not have the Gwaredwr Mawr (Great Saviour), on our side.
DD: And it seems like time is running out.
DD: Shall I prepare the escape vessel?
BQ: No, This is all wrong.
BQ: This shouldn't be happening.
BQ: He should be dead.
BQ: I saw the tower explode.
BQ: I saw the plan work.
DD: That may have happened in your timeline, but this one that event didn't occur.
BQ: Timeline?
DD: Yes, Timeline.
DD: The session works on a timeline.
DD: The main one, the one that is most stable, is called the Alpha Timeline.
DD: All the other timelines, the ones that don't make it in the end, are called beta timelines.
DD: For every event in the Alpha timeline, there are a thousand individual responses for the beta timelines.
DD: And There are quite a lot more beta timelines in the game then there are alpha timelines.
DD: There's a caveat there, on the one hand, if you exist in a beta timeline, you are destined to die.
DD: But on the other hand, you can do whatever you want, and you don't have to face the consequences of doing it because you'll die anyway.
DD: Alpha timelines pay freedom of choice with a chance at survival.
DD: Are you going to take that chance?
BQ: What are you talking about?
DD: Well, you told me that in your timeline the lordling's tower exploded.
DD: And I can tell that somehow, Derse prototyped the second time over.
DD: So, I have a suggestion, to get you back to your correct timeline.
BQ: What, kill my past self before I destroy the Prototyping Tower?
DD: No, too many issues.
DD: Most importantly, it would cause a paradox, which the game only likes in small doses.
DD: No, I had something, much different in mind...
