MM: so what do these machines do.

SB: Right, you don't know.

SB: So, the machine with the typewriter is called the Card Designx.

SB: I mistakenly kept on calling it the Card Puncher because I learnt of it's name from a blind person, but it's not called that.

SB: It can punch in codes into captchalogue cards that represent items in the universe.

SB: That's all it does.

SB: The one you just placed is called the Totem Lathe.

SB: It will take cruxite Dowel from the one of the other machines and carve it in a way that represents an item.  And it takes in input from two different punched cards, and it occurs in two different ways, || and &&.  && seems to be a lot more powerful, but the two still work.

MM: oh, like my alchemy stand.

SB: Oh right, that. 

SB: It's a bit more complicated than that, but it basically works the same.

MM: so then, what shall I place next?

SB: Place the one with the extendo arm next.
