You go up to the safe. Jack asks why you didn't start with it; you tell him that you needed to fix Bob because you wanted to be nice, and you actually like him, unlike the dragon that he wears. He rebuts that he can't take off the outfit because if he took it off, the queen would probably kill him, and even if he wanted to take that risk, they were grafted onto his skin. You ask why they would do such a horrible thing, and he reminds that he is from Derse, where that thing common. You ask if they turned him green, and he says no, his outfit was changed using science-magic to the dark green that is. He isn't actually green, unlike the queen, who is very much green now. You ask which queen, and then he remembers that you herald from both kingdoms so it's difficult for "the queen" to mean anything. He says that the Derse queen has turned from black to green, and that the Prospit queen has turned from white to pink. You ask why pink, and he gives no answer.
