NANO1 is the newest technology for stargazers. The NANO1 has been made even smaller so that you can take it on the go. Not only does it take pictures, but you can also connect it to your phone so that you can see what the camera sees. The NANO1 is around $449 which is very cheap, compared to Sony’s $1699 “A6300”, and Canon’s $1149 “750D”. The NANO1 has a 4K resolution versus the 1080 HD of Canon. When compared to the Sony “A6300”, the Canon “750D”, and the ZWO “ASI290MC”, the NANO1 comes out on top.

2. The Light Phone II

According to SlickText, “Of parents surveyed in the UK, 46% said they ‘feel addicted’ to their mobile devices”. This is a shocking statistic. Luckily, Joe Hollier and Kaiwei Tang created a device to stop this addiction, introducing Light Phone II, the lightweight minimalist phone. This phone has only necessities, texting, calling, emergency, alarms, and a calculator. It has a simple iPhone 4-like shape.

3. WeWalk

The blind have a hard time walking around, so they get a cane. But that’s still not enough!! A cane helps them find their way around but what about above their hips? What about their heads? Kursat Ceylan, who suffered from this problem created a solution, WeWalk. This is a cane that has a sensor to tell you when there is an object at chest-level. This cane also can connect to a phone to use apps like google maps to help with carrying many things. This is, great but it doesn’t come cheap, the WeWalk sells to the public for $499.

About 13.3% of jobs are office jobs, meaning they sit a whole lot! This is very unhealthy and ruins their posture. Herman Miller created a solution. The Cosm chair is a different type of office chair it has many different parts that adjust for many different postures that you might find yourself in. the chair is good for things like reclining and turning around with your arm around the chair. 5. Remo Tech OBSBOT Tail

If you have ever taken a home video or youtube video all by yourself, you know the struggle. The Remo Tech OBSBOT Tail is a different type of camera, this camera follows you around as you walk around the stage or field. On the app, you can pick a subject for the camera to follow, a person, object or animal. On the app, you can also decide different hand gestures to do take out different tasks, like zooming in or out. You can buy the product at about $589.

6. Lightsail 2

One of the biggest problems of space explorations and launches is the weight. The weight of fuel and pieces of the ships. The lightsail 2 is a kite-looking anti-fuel object that collects photons from the sunlight to increase the velocity instead of using engines and thrusters. The lightsail 2 is currently in space and has been since July 31, 2019.

7. FUTURECRAFT.LOOP

What do you do with your small shoes? Throw them away? Sell them? Donate them? There’s a better solution. You can return your Adidas shoes to Adidas to get 100% of them reused to make new shoes. After more than seven years of research and studies, the company found a way to make shoes with no glue or solvent. Times explained “James Carnes, vice president of global brand strategy at Adidas, says the FUTURECRAFT.LOOP is meant to be a first step to “clean up some of the environmental impact that we create through our massive product creation every year.”. Because the idea is in the beta-testing phase, it will not come out until sometime in 2021.

8. Postmates Serve

Postmates is a delivery service for restaurants that do not do deliveries. The way they do it, is they get delivery drivers to go to the restaurant and deliver it to your home. Postmates may be getting rid of the drivers and cars in all. The Postmates Serve is a robot that carries your food to your house. This robot has two eyes and four wheels. It can carry 50 lbs and drive 30 miles on one charge. It has a touchscreen on it to help the customers get the food.

By 2030, the shortage of elderly care employees will be more than 150,000 in the US alone. That’s crazy! Trinity College Dublin and Knollwood created a robot that can help make that number smaller. Stevie is a robot that can help them do lots of things like make video calls and play games. Stevie has a nice, friendly face to make sure the elders feel comfortable. During the research, they found that the elders found it best when Stevie was being social and telling them stories. Conor McGinn, Stevie’s lead engineer, says that part is very important to get right because they are “the things that seem to affect people’s quality of life.”
