AI Will Corrupt Society

AI, or Artificial Intelligence, has been a recent topic that everyone has heard about. But, what exactly is Artificial Intelligence, and how will it bring an unsuspecting society into corruption?

Artificial intelligence is everywhere in the world around us- Apple’s Siri, Self driving cars, Amazon, robots, and almost any high technology that we use everyday. But the question is: how will this affect our everyday society? Will artificial intelligence, like in films, "take over the world"?

For example, take AI in the human workforce. Robots are already widely used throughout many factories and research labs, and humans rely on them to make better solutions that they would never be able to come up with. In the hypothetical scenario of AI takeover, robots take control of the entire planet and completely manage the human race, effectively wiping out all humans on earth.

Yes, it is true that there are many good reasons why AI is a benefit to society, like how they can make life easier for us and progress into the future much quicker than we can. Except, think of it this way: We are so heavily dependent on robots and technology that, in a sense, machines will become so powerful they will begin to act and feel, while being better at everything a person can do, almost like a superhuman. They will start to think they are more capable than the human race and see us more as a block for them to become the supreme leader the planet, as AI already controls most of it anyway.

In my opinion, AI is extremely dangerous. It is a giant monster that we are futilely trying to control with a leash, and, if we don't all work together to keep control and use of robots to a minimum, will take over the earth as we know it.
