Acrylic "Masterpiece"

This painting was inspired by Frederic Edwin Church, who is a very detailed acrylic painter and paints landscapes. I tried to mimic his use of detailed pieces of nature and darks and lights. The texture was an important element in this painting to make it look more realistic and have movement. I created movement by the different colors and the brush stroke techniques that I used. Something successful about this piece is that sky and water, I think it's very detailed and pretty. This unit, I learned about colors and how to make certain colors using only primary colors.
