I like to use acrylic paint or markers, anything that can provide me with really bright and saturated colors. I usually depict either a character I've created or whatever has inspired me lately. Sometimes I'll do a rough thumbnail but most of the time I just jump into whatever I'm doing.
I plan to explore my style further and use more mediums I've never touched before. I can help myself be successful by using my time more wisely and trying to stop procrastinating as much.

This digital painting of a 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible is inspired by my grandfather’s car and my passion for Mopars. I’ve always been interested in restoring antique cars, and the Hemi Cuda is my second favorite he owns! In this artwork, I wanted to show the power and classic style of this car, while also capturing the special memories it holds for me and my family. This piece is not just about a car, but also about appreciating the past and connecting with something I love.
The first two pieces are both of my own personal characters Ferris and Delta! I wanted to use pixel art cause I find it more enjoyable than other things, I used an app called Pixaki which is very similar to Aesprite. (bring aesprite to ipad!!) It doesn't have quite as many features but it's still pretty easy to use. I wanted to capture their dynamic, at first I wasn't so sure about the words but I think it fits. The colors are inverts of eachother, while Ferris represents the sun and Delta represents the moon to further illustrate their relationship. The animation is of me and my friends characters, Maggie and Dawn. Maggie the cat on the left is mine, and Dawn the borzoi on the right is my girlfriends. I wanted something simple that was sorta cute and cozy to to capture their vibe. I think it is a little rushed but still cute overall. I did use Pixaki for this as well, but transferred the frames to procreate for animation, Pixaki's animation feature is so wonky and difficult.
