Hello PHS Wonderer,
Of course we can! First of all, Perry Hill is a great school! With amazing teachers, staff, secretaries, our principals, custodians, cafe...you name it they rock!
They also have great merchandise for sale. You can order this merchandise at https://www.perryhillpto.org/ click this link to go to the PHS PTO home page.
Something special PHS does is gold card! Gold cards are a great opportunity, you can get rewards like listening to music while doing work or doing work in the hallway! It’s a great experience to have! The best is being called first for dismissal.
Another thing you should know about PHS is the log tickets……DUN DUN DUNNNN!! There are 3 levels. When you act up, you may receive a log ticket. The first level is a warning. You don’t want a log ticket because when you get home your parents will have to sign it and probably want to talk about what you did. I’m not saying you shouldn’t talk to your guardian or parent, I’m saying you don’t want to tell them you did something bad! So try to make good choices and if you make a mistake learn from them.
Hope that helps with some of your wonders!
Hello Founder In Question,
PHS was founded in August 2010! Before that it was where the Board of Education met, before that it was the old SIS, and before that it was the original SHS!
Hope that helps :)
Hello everyone! I did some research and it seems that Shelton High school is the oldest. It was established in 1973!
Hello Perry Hill Students,
Today I got the question, “How do clouds produce snow and rain?” Well, here's how rain develops, “Within a cloud, water droplets shrink onto one another, causing the drops to grow. When these water droplets get too heavy to stay in the cloud, they fall to Earth as rain.” Now we know how water forms. Snow is rain, just the temperature is different. For it to snow it has to be under 32°F (or in Celsius 0 degrees), and of course it has to be raining. I hope that helps.
Hey everyone!
Today I will be answering the question ¨What do you think the weirdest animal is in the world?¨ Well, I have many favorite animals, but I'm not so sure about the weirdest one. But of course, since I’m Miss Know It All, and I know everything, I would have to say the weirdest animal in the world is the Okapi. The okapi is a mix of multiple animals - the zebra (its legs) and giraffe (its head). If you've never seen one look it up....this is totally the weirdest, but also the coolest animal. Until next time.
