What is Rowan Innovation Weekend?
Rowan Innovation Weekend is a one-day event open to Rowan students of any major created by the University Innovation Fellows. It is intended to teach students about design thinking and entrepreneurship while also using their talents to create solutions for their fellow students.
This year's topic: Student Mental Health Solutions
Mental health is one of the most important issues on campus and in institutions of higher education as a whole. We plan to have students solve for students on this issue. Who understands their needs better?
Our Approach
We plan to educate students on the Stanford Design process we were trained in as University Innovation fellows to grow and subsequently direct students' entrepreneurial spirits towards solving an issue that has touched so many of us. In addition to training students on the entrepreneurial mindset and design thinking process, we will equip them with knowledge about mental health services to better direct their energies and encourage novel solutions.
Get Involved!
YOUR solution could help students at Rowan or at colleges across the world. Whether it be a website, a network, a policy recommendation, or a nonprofit, we can give you the knowledge to develop a creative solution and the pathways to making it a reality.
