Find an open printer that has enough filament for your print
The filament rolls list the remaining weight in grams on them
See Slicing a Model if you don't know how much filament your print will take
If no open printer has enough filament you can follow these instructions to load a new roll of filament, or ask a staff engineer or Student Worker for assistance
Open your Orca Project
See Slicing a Model, or First Time Setup if you haven't created a project in Orca yet
Insert the a USB drive card into your computer
Press the [Export G-code] button in Orca
Give your file a recognizable name when saving
Gently insert your USB drive with your gcode into the printer
Click on the [Folder Icon]->[USB drive]
Click on the file you'd like to print
Verify the on screen [calibrate] checkmark is checked
Press Print
Do not leave your USB drive in the printer once it finishes copying
Please do not leave until you complete the next section
Watch the first layer of the print to insure the nozzle is printing at the correct height and the print is well attached to the build plate, if you have any questions or issues at this stage or just want a second set of eyes to check, please ask a Student Worker or staff engineer for assistance
The most common reason for a failure to attach to the build plate is that the magnetic build plate was attached incorrectly, verify the build plate is flush and not sitting on the screws in the rear of the build plate heats
