Four categories of professional learning activities are currently being offered at the District Level. Professional Development points for relicensure and salary movement will be recorded in Frontline Professional Growth for educators who follow the directions for requesting these points. Please note, directions may be different for each category of activities. All activities must be completed by July 31, 2020 and all point requests must be completed by August 31, 2020.
Within each category, click on the titles for directions on how to engage in the activity. When new activities are added, the date in which they were added will be beside the title.
There is a maximum of 120 points that may be earned for salary movement in the professional development year (August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020). There is no limit on the number of points you may earn for relicensure.
Designing Digital Content
Designing Digital Content
All certified/licensed staff members will be able to log into the Synergy LMS (Learning Management System) on July 20th, but you are welcome to start creating digital content before then. Digital content can be created now, without Synergy LMS access, through other digital tools that are listed HERE. Any content that you create now, through other digital tools, can then be easily added to the Synergy LMS once you have access on July 20th. Elementary Computer Lab Associates will also be provided access to Synergy.
Click HERE for information on how you can access additional information and resources to support you in creating digital content and how you can earn up to 40 professional development points for relicensure and salary movement. (Please note that the 120 point maximum limit for salary movement remains).
Additional Live Webinars to support Designing Digital Content are now available (see below). Points for attending these live webinars are awarded through the Designing Digital Content log.
