Who We Are

Students in the Digital Media Pathway focus on creating, producing, and operating digital production used to communicate to various audiences. As skills progress, students assume more responsibility in producing media for the schools that use multimedia to broadcast information, such as upcoming events, school highlights and other messages to students. Communications specialists, reporters and correspondents gather information and prepare media that informs audiences about current issues and local, state, national and international events.

Who We Are

The e-Communication Academy provides a platform for learners to communicate, collaborate, innovate and design. Animators, graphic designers, web designers, filmmakers, and broadcasters work beyond the classroom to create media — for the school, community, and professional clients. Students learn advanced skills and work in state-of-the-art Apple computer labs with access to the entire Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Students also learn how to become industry professionals in their craft by using the e-Communication 5 Guarantees as their guiding principles. When students complete the 4-year e-Communication Academy they will have the project management, technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to go into the workforce as an emerging professional.
