Elementary Grade Level and ELL Educators- Please Note the Following Information About An Approved Variance for August 8

During the August 8 professional learning, elementary grade level and ELL teachers will be learning to use two preparation protocols – one for Wit & Wisdom and the other for Eureka Math.  While the process for the protocols are similar in nature, the content is obviously vastly different.  By doing both new learning and implementation of the new learning for ELA in the morning and the same in the afternoon for math, the learning will be more relevant and allow the immediate implementation of learning using each of the new protocols.  Under the approved plan, teachers actually have 15 minutes additional implementation time because no formal break time is needed.
