Who We Are

The  Performing Arts Pathway is an option for students which encompasses two areas: music and theatre. The Performing Arts are essential to education and are a vibrant part of life. Learning, performing, creating, and appreciating music and theatre brings meaning and richness to our culture and heritages. Courses in choral and instrumental music provide a positive influence in students’ lives, their education, and society as a whole. Theatre courses develop the capacity for creative emotional expression; expands physical, artistic, and improv skills; as well as enriches the lives of students. Performing Arts courses influence learning in other subjects and enhances skills that students inevitably use in other areas of life.
