The Cincinnati Bengals started the year with a loss to the New England Patriots by 6 points with the final score being 16-10. The Bengals and their fans had very high expectations going into this year with a healthy Joe Burrow, and a star studded wide receiver core with Je'marr Chase and Tee Higgins. But the Bengals problem in the past few years has been the offensive line and keeping Joe Burrow healthy. In the first game against the Patriots we got to see that things haven't changed much with the development of the offensive line despite the addition of former Patriot Trent Brown. The Bengals opened the season with a -230 to make the playoffs which is about 70% chance. But after that terrible performance against the Patriots with two fumbles turnovers including one at the goal line, I could see their percent of making the playoffs going down. On the other hand, they do have the third easiest schedule in the league, and bad games happen. So we will see how the future of the Bengals pan out.
