Need a binge-worthy Netflix show? Money Heist is guaranteed to keep you on your toes and take you on an emotional roller coaster.
Money Heist is a five-part crime thriller Netflix series set in Madrid that immerses you into the world of a group of thieves who pull off two of history's greatest heists.
El Professor, the mastermind, assembles a team of eight individuals who have different abilities to carry out his plans. In the first heist, they printed billions of euros at the Royal Mint of Spain and in the second, they melted tons of gold into small grains at the Bank of Spain. In both heists, the gang takes hostages and locks themselves inside the banks, while El Professor manipulates the police to try and successfully get the gang out on the outside.
With all of the unexpected plot twists and losses throughout the heists, I found the show to be very suspenseful and intriguing. I was at the edge of my seat multiple times, eager to find out what would happen next. As I watched, I cried, laughed, was angry, and felt a variety of other emotions. It has great characters with actors who play their roles well; you'll either love or hate them as they cover a wide range of topics such as resistance, bravery, family, loyalty, and romance. It has flashbacks of the professor teaching the thieves his plans, the characters' backstories, and the development of the gang's bond. It made me feel very connected to each character and sympathize or relate to what they went through in their lives.
There's not much else I can say without spoiling the show, so I hope you’ll consider watching Money Heist and enjoy it as much as I did.
Will you side with the police or with the robbers?
