Warzone 2.0 is a battle royal that can either be played by yourself or with teammates. The game's objective is to be the last one standing on the map after the circle closes in.
Warzone 2.0 came out with an update on February 15 featuring a new map for close combat, new weapons, and some patch notes. In general, the game does not disappoint after the two years of Call of Duty games screwing up Warzone 1 with obnoxious updates that have been caused by disappointing games *cough Vanguard and Cold War.* This one right here has what most people like myself needed to get back to the game. With this new update that came out. season two brought the new map of resurgence with Japanese architecture that looks quite pleasing with high graphics that help the color smoothen itself to complement the buildings and nature of the map.
The game itself is enough to get your adrenaline pumping a little with close encounters in the small map causing more action, making it more enjoyable than just for some little timmy to be camping in the corner. The mechanics of the game are amazing. From being able to dive off a roof, to picking up items like ammo armor plates without looking at it and getting rid of armor satchels off the game, this update brought some type of memory from the old game Warzone 1 when it barely came out with some of similar mechanics that I enjoyed.
The game isn’t perfect, though. Something that the game developers failed to make better is weapon balancing. This has been a problem for many years in the Call of Duty and Warzone franchise, but that's the only problem I have with the game and the update. Going into a game knowing that there is a gun that everyone is using to get a faster time to kill compared to the gun that isn't as good, isn't a fair advantage to others during a match. I believe that this game could be even more amazing if the developers listen to the community and nerf whatever is overpowered to balance the game and let it only be skill that determines if one wins or loses.
Overall, the game is pretty amazing. All the game developers need to do is listen to the community and nerf whatever is overpowered in the game to make it balanced. But besides that I would recommend it to those who like action cooperative games.
