Below you will find digital tools to practice, explore and engage in learning experiences!

All websites are free but some do require you to sign-up. The sign-up process is very easy and only requires an email address.


English Language Arts

Read Works

Articles for each grade level and subject. Each article comes with comprehension questions! Must sign up for a free educator account.

Scholastic Magazine

Daily lessons with text, video and activities. Currently 5 lessons per grade level available and more coming!

Epic!

Online books of all types and reading levels. Some books even have a "read to me" option or a quiz. This site does require you to login with a google email.

Storyline Online

Streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations.

Michigan e-Library

Digital access to several encyclopedias for kids.

Common Lit

Online texts for third grade and above. All text sets include a parent guide. To access the text sets, click on "Digital Lesson Library" from the main page.

Starfall

At Starfall, children have fun while they learn - specializing in reading, phonics & math - educational games, movies, books, songs, and more for children K-3

Tween Tribune

TTribune consists of daily news sites for kids and includes text, photos, graphics, and audio and/or video materials prepared by the Smithsonian.

Prodigy is a free, Pokemon-style math game that has been proven to improve student scores and confidence!

Khan Academy

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and personalized learning. Students can study at their own pace.

Mystery Science

Typing.com is an online typing tutor, and digital literacy platform. Students work to develop their keyboarding skills from home row basics up to mastery of advanced punctuation.

Conjuguemos makes learning verb conjugations in Spanish, French (+ 7 other languages) easy with drill practices and fun multi-player games.
