Jada's artwork

This watercolor was probably my favorite to work on. Layer after layer this turtle started to take shape and eventually come to life. I do wish that it was more colorful, but I also like the realistic color, which really brought the painting to life.

The whistle was pretty frustrating. It whistled beautifully when I first worked on it, and next thing you know, I started sculpting and it stopped working. I got it to whistle, but it just isn't the same. I thought it turned out okay, but I wish I could fix the eyes because they melted during the kiln.

The hand drawing(above right) was frustrating at first, but I eventually found this project to be a stress reliever, go figure. I like the shading and the detail, and I learn that realistic drawing is not as hard as it is sounds. All it takes is a good eye, an object, and a really good blender.
