Grace's Favorites

Through this project I learned to be patient with myself and with the painting. At first I had a hard time creating a duplicate image of myself and I went through a lot of trial and error before I was pleased with the turnout. Now I can say that I created an abstract image that resembles a real life photo of me.

In the second quarter of Advanced Art I chose to do a colored pencil piece of art. My art was intended as a way of displaying and reminding me of our school years theme: Speak Life. This project took a lot of little strategic work and shading of colored pencils to create an art piece in which the colors flowed together to look the way I wanted.

2D Scratch Art Project

I joined 2D art second semester of my Senior year. For my first class project, I scratched a picture of a panda sitting on a log wood into black paper. I was able to learn how to use this scratching tool to make a realistic and sad looking picture of this animal.

Colored pencil

Last project of my art career at CVC. Spent a few weeks coloring this form of transportation and learned a lot.
