Trader Joule's

Trader Joe's is a grocery store (that uses the same font as in the mural). Kepler in this mural is thinking about Kepler's third law, which states that the period^2 of a rotation (of a planet) is proportional to the radius^3, and all planets have the same ratio of T^2/r^3.

The store manager says that Kepler has 'great focus.' Kepler's 1st law states that planets' orbits are shaped like ellipses, and the center of the sun is found at one of the foci of the ellipse.

The store manager also says that Kepler 'sweeps out the same area every night.' Kepler's second law states that a planet sweeps out sectors of the same area when it orbits for the same amount of time (see image below for better explanation).
