This mural is a reference to the movie The Breakfast Club, where the five main characters write a letter at the end of the movie:
"Dear Mr. Vernon:
We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong, but we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us... In the simplest terms and the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain... ...and an athlete... ...and a basket case... ...a princess... ...and a criminal.
Does that answer your question? Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club."

The nucleotides actually make up DNA and RNA (uracil replaces thymine in RNA). Thymine (or Uracil) and Adenine bond together, and Cytosine and Guanine bond together. (This fact can be remembered because C and G are similarly shaped letters). The bottoms of the nucleotides are shaped to fit together in this way (C/G is round and T/A/U are pointed) This is also funny because the characters in the movie who are represented by these nucleotides are romantically attracted to each other at the end (the princess and the criminal, and the athlete and the basketcase). The facts that the nucleotides share in their letter are also all true.
