Elemental Jokes

The chemical reaction for a banana consists of Ba (barium) + 2 Na (sodium) which are both elements on the periodic table. They do not actually form a banana when reacted, but the letter of the chemical symbols spell out banana. The sodium and neon characters are reacting to this joke at the top. Sodium is put in place of “so dang” in the first text bubble because they sound similar, so the sodium character says this. Neon is put in place of “knee on” because they sound similar, so the neon character says this. Argon is a noble gas, which means it is not reactive, so it makes sense that the argon character would not get a reaction from this joke.
