Simple Harmonic Motion?

Simple harmonic motion is studied in physics class. It includes anything periodic, like a spring stretching and compressing, and follows a sinusoidal pattern, as graphed in this mural. The opposite of simple harmonic motion might be complicated melodic motion, with a more complicated graph and melody notes...? :)
