Pooh

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood" is a line from Robert Frost's poem The Road Not Taken. The yellow bear is Winnie the Pooh (from A. A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh). The relation to chemistry is the dual nature of quantum (tiny) objects. Electrons or light can either behave as a particle (a photon is a particle of light), where it behaves like a tiny marble, or it can behave as a wave, such as a ripple on water. Quantum objects may 'choose' which to be, like the bear choosing the road, based on the presence of an observer. Like the bear, they may choose multiple options; for example, given two slits, a wave can go through both, even if it is only a single electron.
