Roger Fox puts too much gas and coal on his grill, causing a large, fiery explosion when he tries to light it. His son Peter jokes that the explosion was so big that it made a new hole in the ozone layer. Roger does not think it is very funny and just wants the cleansing, antibacterial, pain-relieving bactine spray for his burns. A hole in the ozone layer was actually formed from the use of chlorofluorocarbons/freon in aerosol cans, air conditioners, and other human possessions. When harmful particles are decreased, the hole can repair itself.
