Formaldehyde

Jason Dadolf (2017-18)

Formaldehyde is a real molecule with the structure shown. It is a strong smelling, colorless gas and is the simplest of the aldehydes. Its name sounds like 'formal dehyde,' which facilitates the pun 'casual dehyde.' It also helps that the molecule is a humanoid shape with oxygen for the head, so it can be dressed casually.
