Evolution

The evolution of the characters of the movie(s) Ice Age are depicted in this mural. The saber tooth tiger Diego evolved into a lion, the prehistoric squirrel Scrat evolved into a normal squirrel, but the sloth Sid was eliminated in the modern day by natural selection, probably because he has trouble finding a mate in the movie. The wooly mammoth Manny is not shown evolving, but if he had been, he probably would have been shown with an elephant because they share a common ancestor.
