Frozen Entropy

The graphs are phase diagrams. The slanted parts of the graph show the added energy causing the temperature of the H2O to increase. The flat parts of the graph show the added energy causing the H2O to change state. However much energy you is added to Olaf, he never changes state. Entropy is a measure of randomness. Solid is less random than liquid, which is less random than gas, so entropy increases as energy is added to turn ice into steam.

This mural is funny because it is a reference to the movie Frozen. Olaf (the snowman) is a character. He was able to melt, but Elsa gave him a personal snow flurry that now ensures that he will stay frozen. The well known song Let It Go from the movie has a line 'The cold never bothered me anyway,' which 'Entropy never bothered me anyway' is referring to.
