Various types of collision are studied in physics class. In an inelastic collision, the two objects stick together. Since the wooly mammoth is so much more massive than the caveman, it does not move when he collides with it.
In elastic collisions, kinetic energy is conserved, along with momentum (which is conserved in pretty much all collisions studied in class). The knights have an elastic collision, and bounce off each other, each with a new final velocity.
The plague victims have a completely inelastic collision, so they stick together, but since they have the same mass and initial velocity, they end up with no final velocity.
The englishmen have a glancing collision, so their interaction changes their initial directions of motion a bit (like hitting a pool ball on the side).
The iCollision happens in the hallways of the school when students are engrossed in their phones, and is not really covered in physics class. :)
