Batesian Mimicry

Batesian Mimicry is when a harmless, edible animal evolves to resemble a harmful, poisonous animal so that predators that eat both of them will avoid both of them in case they are poisonous. This mural is funny because it uses movie characters. Randall Boggs is imitated by Boo (both from Monsters Inc). Scar (The Lion King) is imitated by the Beast (Beauty and the Beast).

Cryptic coloration is when an animal is colored the same way as its surroundings so it blends in and predators are unlikely to see it. The example shown is Pascal, the chameleon from Tangled, disguising himself as a blue flower under a blue bush.
