AP Obedience Training

Dogs in obedience training also want the opportunity to take AP courses. They can learn the kinetic energy (K=1/2Iw, I is rotational inertia, w is omega is angular speed) involved in the rotation they perform when instructed to roll over, as well as their angular momentum (L=Iw). They also complete a detailed study of the motion of a ball they are instructed to fetch, including the distance and speed of the ball, kinematic equations, and the effects of air resistance.
