Near the end of the year, Japan Club traditionally takes a day-long trip to Japantown, a hotspot for exploring Japanese food and culture. Club members will decide which Japantown, either in San Francisco or San Jose, they would like to visit, each having different attractions and activities for all of y'all to explore and discover!
Be ready to wake up early for this highly anticipated trip. Don't forget to bring your camera and spare allowance!
「ジャパニーティーガーデン」
The Japanese Tea Garden is a wonderful spectacle with breathtaking nature left-to-right along with (fairly pricey) souvneir and sweet shops. Just saying... bring that camera!!!
「サンフランシスコのジャパンタウン」
Japantown in San Francisco is particularly thriving with many people, especially during the spring season when the cherry blossom festival is near. Crowds can be a hassle, so make sure you have things planned beforehand :)
「カラオケ」
The pinnacle of Japanese culture, KARAOKE!!! For those who are unfamiliar, karaoke is about singing your favorite songs, whether it be solo, a duet, or (preferably) everyone altogether!
「サンホセのジャパンタウン」
The Japantown in San Jose is a lot smaller compared to San Francisco's Japantown, but that doesn't stop it from being a worthwhile visit to explore and spend way too much money.
