WELCOME TO BTEC MUSIC @ QMC
The Music Department at Queen Mary's College are incredibly proud of all our students who choose to join us for the next step of their musical journey. Most of our BTEC Music students go on to study music further at some of the countries top music schools and universities and some have had successful careers in the industry as performers, writers/composers, producers, engineers and educators. Below are just a snippet of some of our incredibly talented alumni.
Our facilities are some of the best you will find in any sixth form college. We have a professional theatre (Central Studio), a large hall with staging and lighting, a recording studio, pre-production room, music technology suite running Apple Macs and Logic Pro X, large live room/performance space, practice rooms and fully kitted out music classrooms with PA systems, amps, drum kits and pianos.
Our students have ample opportunities to perform in concerts, musicals and open mic sessions and are taught by industry professional teachers with years of experience in music and education.
