How Art Has Deteriorated Over The Years

Art has had a pivotal role in history for thousands of years. It has influenced significant cultural events and provides valuable insight into history. However, does art still have significance as it did in previous years? We always see pictures of drawings that portray historical events taken in their time, but when was the last time you saw a drawing or painting of a modern day event compared to digital art? On the contrary, many could argue that art still is relevant and influences our society in different ways compared to what they were before.

How could this occur when you aren’t able to consume art in their previous ways? Well, the answer is actually quite simple. Art is a form of expression that has many categories that fit within it. Categories such as photography or digital art have taken the world by a storm, portraying the same messages as conventional art forms in a new way.

All in all, art has not deteriorated over the years, just expanded its ways of portrayal and has been modernized to fit into today's standards and today's culture.
