The Junior High musical debuted last Friday and Saturday. It was called “High School Musical Jr.” based off the movie High School Musical. All of the actors and crew members worked very hard and the show came out great.
The main roles were played by Siddhi, an eighth grader, and Troy was played by a seventh grade boy. All of the other ones were also very important but those were the two main protagonists.
It was a very big show with many complex props and backdrops. The artwork and building of everything was very impressive. Also since it is a musical the cast had to sing most of the time. They all sang very well with the help of some highschoolers training them. They also had to perform dance moves whilst singing. This obviously took a lot of time and practice and it certainly paid off. The show was basically a full house ok the first night. Many parents, teachers, and fellow students were there to see the show and express their support towards theater.
The show was directed by Ms.Conner, a language arts teacher at the Junior High, and the assistant director was Lili, an eighth grader. Overall, the show turned out amazing and you could see all of their hard work that they put into the production and it was fantastic.
