Mary Poppins cast has the first day of being off book. How's it going?

The Quad Cities' Double Threat Studios is working on a production of Mary Poppins Jr. with a cast of 3rd to 8th graders. Monday, April 11th, 2022, is the cast's first day being off book or without scripts. I'm checking in with cast member Evan Sels, who is playing Mr. Banks, on how he felt that the first day of being off book went for him, and as a whole. "I feel like I did pretty well and remembered most of my lines. I feel that as a whole we did pretty well for our first day, but there are definitely places we could improve." Their first show is Friday, April 29th, 2022, so the cast has plenty of time to make improvements to put on the best show that they can.
